We wanted to give our son a chalkboard or a picnic table for Christmas. We don't have room or money to buy both so we thought that a chalkboard table would solve our problems. But then I realized that he would be putting his toys all over the table when he wasn't playing with chalk and they'd get so dirty. We were also disappointed to find that a table with only one function, a chalkboard, was $130 at Wal-Mart or target. So, for our little guy, we created and built a three-in-one activity table that will change when he wants to switch activities and that will adapt to his developmental level as he grows.
